- Cash: Preferably carry cash, as ATM access is limited. Only an SBI ATM is available at Gosaba.
Day 1
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM:
- First pick-up point: Indian Museum Main Gate near Park Street Metro (reporting time: 8:00 AM, departure time: 8:30 AM).
- Second pick-up point: P.C. Chandra Garden Gate No.1, Science City (reporting time: 8:30 AM, departure time: 9:00 AM) by AC vehicle. Enjoy a three-and-a-half-hour drive to Godhkhali with a breakfast tea break on the way.
2:30 PM:
- Arrive at the hotel, located opposite the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, surrounded by villages, forests, and the river breeze—a perfect place for a peaceful and pleasurable weekend.
4:00 PM:
- Enjoy a short boat introduction to the Sundarban Bird Jungle with a mesmerizing sunset view. Return to the hotel by 6:00 PM.
7:00 PM:
- Local folk dance followed by complimentary snacks, tea/coffee.
8:00 PM:
- Bonfire and music (winter season only).
9:30 PM:
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
8:00 AM:
- Start the morning with a Sundarban Delta Safari by boat.
8:30 AM:
- Begin the jungle safari guided by our government tourist guide at Sajnekhali Tiger Reserve.
9:30 AM:
- Experience a thrilling boat safari through various rivers, islands, and small creeks, covering Pirkhali, Banbibi Varani, Sundarkhali, Khonakhali, Choragaji, Deualvarani, Sarakkhali 1 or 2, Gazikhali, Nobanki, and the Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower. Look out for animals like spotted deer, crocodiles, wild boars, snakes, water monitor lizards, different types of birds, and possibly the Royal Bengal Tiger (if you’re lucky).
12:30 PM:
- Visit the Do-Banki Tiger Reserve area and watchtower. The 896-meter canopy walk at Do-Banki offers an opportunity to view wildlife from a netted enclosure.
1:30 PM:
- Visit Panchamukhni, the 5-river junction.
4:30 PM:
- After the thrilling Sundarban National Park safari, reach Pakhiralay.
9:30 PM:
- Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3
9:30 AM:
- After breakfast, enjoy a local village walk for a couple of hours. Visit the Hamilton Bungalow and Rabindranath Tagore Bungalow. Then transfer by boat to reach the car and head back to Kolkata. Lunch will be provided on the way.
4:00 – 5:00 PM:
- Arrive back in Kolkata.
